GLOTRANS ATTENDS CLC & TFS CONFERENCE 2015 IN PATTAYA, THAILAND

Continuing to implement the marketing strategy of the Board of Directors in 2015 on expanding relations with foreign partners, the Marketing Department sent staff to attend the 8th CLC & TFS Conference in Pattaya, Thailand from 7th to 3rd. October 10, 2015. This is the 3rd time in the year that Glotrans participates in the event in the field of industry, and also the last overseas business trip of 2015, marking a successful year in Marketing of the company. Glotrans in general and the development of foreign markets in particular.

The 2015 CLC & TFS Conference attracted more than 200 people who are C.E.O. and decision-makers on company policies. Conferences are the place where everyone shares opportunities, maximizes business and potential customer information.

Like representatives from other companies, Ms. Hau, representing Glotrans as an official member of CLC, had the opportunity to meet partners and introduce Glotrans. The Insured’s Duty to Prevent and Mitigate Losses

Company T (Plaintiff – the Insured) entered into an insurance contract with Company B (Defendant – the Insurer). After the insured event occurred, the Insurer alleged that the Insured had violated its obligation to prevent and mitigate losses. The Arbitral Tribunal acknowledged that such an obligation exists but concluded that the Insured did not breach it.

Insurance Contracts Do Not Automatically Terminate Due to Late Premium Payment

Under the insurance contract, the premium was to be paid in three installments, and in all three, the insured party was late in payment. When a dispute arose, the insurer (Defendant) argued that the insurance contract had terminated before the insured event occurred due to the late premium payment and therefore refused to make an insurance payout. However, the Arbitral Tribunal held a contrary view.
