Glotrans Da Nang Attended Talkshow Sharing Knowledge of Logistics Industry with - Duy Tan University

On the morning of February 27, 2024, Glotrans Da Nang cooperated with Nam Khue Institute of Management - Duy Tan University to successfully organize a Talkshow with the topic "Join Glotrans Da Nang to discover the secrets of the Logistics industry and supply chain management".

The Talkshow was organized to give students majoring in Logistics and supply chain management at Nam Khue Institute of Management - Duy Tan University the opportunity to access practical knowledge and valuable experience from businesses.

The Talkshow attracted more than 100 students and received many positive feedback. The students had the opportunity to better understand the Logistics industry, and were inspired by the practical sharing and valuable skills from the brothers and sisters at Glotrans Da Nang.

Glotrans believes that the Talkshow has contributed to career orientation for students and created a foundation for long-term cooperation between Glotrans Da Nang and Nam Khue Institute of Management - Duy Tan University in training quality human resources high for the Logistics industry.

The Insured’s Duty to Prevent and Mitigate Losses

Company T (Plaintiff – the Insured) entered into an insurance contract with Company B (Defendant – the Insurer). After the insured event occurred, the Insurer alleged that the Insured had violated its obligation to prevent and mitigate losses. The Arbitral Tribunal acknowledged that such an obligation exists but concluded that the Insured did not breach it.

Insurance Contracts Do Not Automatically Terminate Due to Late Premium Payment

Under the insurance contract, the premium was to be paid in three installments, and in all three, the insured party was late in payment. When a dispute arose, the insurer (Defendant) argued that the insurance contract had terminated before the insured event occurred due to the late premium payment and therefore refused to make an insurance payout. However, the Arbitral Tribunal held a contrary view.
