GLOTRANS PARTICIPATES IN SPONSORING THE "RELAY LUNCH" PROGRAM OF THE ISE STUDENT UNION - MARITIME UNIVERSITY

Glotrans is an enterprise operating in the field of transportation and logistics established in 2009. As one of the businesses that always considers people as the most valuable asset, since its establishment until now, Glotrans has always been interested in recruiting talents and constantly fostering and improving the quality of human resources. Accordingly, the enterprise is always ready to accompany the students of the Maritime University and the Logistics Training Center to incubate and support the students who wish to develop their careers in the logistics field.

During the 2015 National Exam on July 1 & 2, 2015, Glotrans participated in sponsoring the program "Gift rice 2015 - Refueling lunch" of the International Training Institute - Maritime University and was one of six program's silver sponsor. Not only contributing materially, Glotrans representatives also directly participated with the students; Together with the children, they gave free rice and water to the students and their families during the two days of the exam with the hope to be able to energize the students, help the students stay calm - Confident and Succeed in the exam. this. The above rice meals are not of great value, but they show the responsibility and spirit of helping the community of the students of Maritime University in particular and of the young people of Hai Phong in general. This is also the culture that Glotrans has built and maintained since its establishment – ​​“the culture of sharing”. Although the donation amount is not large, it is a great effort and desire to share by the Board of Directors and all employees.

On the first day of the exam, on July 1, 2015, a representative of the Marketing Department directly participated in distributing rice and drinking water with the students at the C6 cafeteria. Directly participating with the children, seeing with their own eyes the joy of the soldiers and their parents when receiving the meals from the program, they can see the full meaning of the program as well as the efforts and enthusiasm of the students. students volunteering, especially in the hot days of the North such as the last two exam days.

Summarizing after the program, the total number of meals provided by the Lunch Relay program was 2,344 meals, each meal was worth 20,000 VND with drinks and fruit, an increase of 844 meals compared to the original plan; in which 900 rice meals are distributed at C6 canteen, 1,400 rice meals are distributed at Quan Nam Dormitory and 44 meals are given to disadvantaged students in Quang Ninh.

The contribution, both material and spiritual, of Glotrans is highly recognized and appreciated by the teachers at the International Training Institute and the Student Union. BTC also expressed the wish that Glotrans will continue to accompany the ISE Student Union in community volunteering programs in the future.
