GLOTRANS SIGNED COOPERATION AGREEMENTS, MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES ACROSS THE COUNTRY ON RECRUITING INTERNS

Glotrans's practical project "Recruiting and Training Interns" is still being implemented and widely developed.

The coordination and cooperation between Glotrans and universities helps to fulfill the school's training goals as well as meet Glotrans's future human resources plan.

With the view of taking human resources as the core to develop the business, "Recruiting and Training Interns" is always a project that Glotrans devotes a lot of enthusiasm and special attention. Glotrans is committed to joining hands with Universities and Colleges in training quality human resources in the field of logistics. With a long-term orientation, Glotrans has implemented the project with careful investment, creating conditions for students to have access to the real working environment at Glotrans, to apply the learned knowledge to their work as well such as perfecting the necessary soft skills.

In terms of the University, the college also wants Glotrans to be able to provide students with a practical environment, to apply the knowledge they have learned to work, to improve and develop their personal skills.

Hitherto, Glotrans has implemented the project "Recruiting and Training Interns" at all offices in the country together with many prestigious universities and colleges such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Thuongmai University, Vietnam Maritime University, Foreign Trade University, Thang Long University,...The project has brought young and quality human resources to Glotrans as well as brought a lot of knowledge and experience valuable fact for fresh graduates. With a solid development foundation and certain successes achieved, Glotrans affirms that it will continue to maintain, develop and expand this project.

The Insured’s Duty to Prevent and Mitigate Losses

Company T (Plaintiff – the Insured) entered into an insurance contract with Company B (Defendant – the Insurer). After the insured event occurred, the Insurer alleged that the Insured had violated its obligation to prevent and mitigate losses. The Arbitral Tribunal acknowledged that such an obligation exists but concluded that the Insured did not breach it.

Insurance Contracts Do Not Automatically Terminate Due to Late Premium Payment

Under the insurance contract, the premium was to be paid in three installments, and in all three, the insured party was late in payment. When a dispute arose, the insurer (Defendant) argued that the insurance contract had terminated before the insured event occurred due to the late premium payment and therefore refused to make an insurance payout. However, the Arbitral Tribunal held a contrary view.
