The customs clearance facebook group is a large, very useful and healthy playground for members in the logistics industry and the import and export industry. This is a place where members exchange, exchange, learn import-export knowledge as well as receive advice on documents, procedures and problems in the working process.
Following the success from the year-end party in 2021, this year the Customs Clearance Facebook group will hold the year-end party 2022 and welcome the new year 2023 on January 8, 2023 at Binh Quoi 2 Tourist Area, Binh Quoi Street, Ward 28, Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh. The event attracted the participation of many members of the group, as well as the interest of those working in the industry.

In this event, Glotrans Ho Chi Minh participated and accompanied the program as a sponsor. The Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh Branch on behalf of Glotrans attended the party.
At the event, Glotrans had the opportunity to meet and interact with companies in the same industry, expand connections with ancillary service providers. With the strengthening of cooperation with relevant agencies, subcontractors, support and auxiliary service providers, etc., Glotrans expects to create a strong connection with enterprises in the logistics chain. , bringing higher value to customers and the business community.

The Insured’s Duty to Prevent and Mitigate Losses

Company T (Plaintiff – the Insured) entered into an insurance contract with Company B (Defendant – the Insurer). After the insured event occurred, the Insurer alleged that the Insured had violated its obligation to prevent and mitigate losses. The Arbitral Tribunal acknowledged that such an obligation exists but concluded that the Insured did not breach it.

Insurance Contracts Do Not Automatically Terminate Due to Late Premium Payment

Under the insurance contract, the premium was to be paid in three installments, and in all three, the insured party was late in payment. When a dispute arose, the insurer (Defendant) argued that the insurance contract had terminated before the insured event occurred due to the late premium payment and therefore refused to make an insurance payout. However, the Arbitral Tribunal held a contrary view.
