GLOTRANS SIGNS STRATEGIC COOPERATION MOU WITH MEKONG PETROCHEMICAL GROUP

On the morning of May 29, 2025, Glotrans was honored to organize the MOU signing ceremony for strategic cooperation with Mekong Petrochemical Group – a company with 26 years of solid development and currently one of the leading lubricant manufacturers in Vietnam.

With a strong foundation of experience and a diverse product ecosystem, Mekong not only leads the domestic lubricant distribution market but also supplies high-quality imported oil from South Korea through an extensive nationwide distribution network. The Group currently owns private ports, a modern factory covering over 38,000 m², and a system of large-capacity imported base oil storage tanks located in strategic areas such as Long An, Nhon Trach, and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.

Representing Glotrans at the signing ceremony was Mr. Truong Thai Huy – Deputy Sales Director of Glotrans Ho Chi Minh City. Both parties agreed to establish a comprehensive partnership to support each other in products and services. Notably, Mekong committed to prioritizing Glotrans for import shipments from South Korea as well as export shipments to markets such as Myanmar, China, Indonesia, and others. This is a significant step forward for Glotrans in enhancing its international logistics capabilities and optimizing the supply chain for its partners.

At the same time, Mekong will assign a dedicated team to work closely with Glotrans in trade and logistics activities, ensuring effective, prompt, and sustainable collaboration in the future.

This signing event not only marks a milestone in Glotrans’ development strategy but also demonstrates our strong commitment to connecting, sharing values, and accompanying our partners toward mutual success.

With a sustainable development orientation and an expanding network of strategic partnerships, Glotrans firmly believes that the collaboration with Mekong will lead to breakthrough advancements in the international logistics service supply chain.
