Glotrans Sporting Football Club: Competing in the HUTECH Alumni & Business Leaders Football Tournament 2024!

 In the morning of April 6th, Glotrans HCM enthusiastically participated in the opening ceremony of the HUTECH Alumni & Business Leaders Football Tournament 2024, marking the beginning of a spirited and united sport journey.

 This year's tournament brings together 32 strong teams, with nearly 500 players from over 50 businesses in Ho Chi Minh City, along with students and alumni from HUTECH.

 Glotrans Sporting Football Club - a team established with the aim of promoting health and providing a recreational outlet for employees after work hours - proudly attended in this meaningful tournament. This is also the spiritual value that GLOTRANS HCM always wants to bring to our employees, promoting both physical and mental health, as well as fostering team’s unity through post-work activities and sports.

 With the spirit of "Sports Exchange - Health Enhancement", Glotrans HCM aims to demonstrate the close relationship between our company and the university, while spreading the passion for sports and the noble sportsmanship.

The Insured’s Duty to Prevent and Mitigate Losses

Company T (Plaintiff – the Insured) entered into an insurance contract with Company B (Defendant – the Insurer). After the insured event occurred, the Insurer alleged that the Insured had violated its obligation to prevent and mitigate losses. The Arbitral Tribunal acknowledged that such an obligation exists but concluded that the Insured did not breach it.

Insurance Contracts Do Not Automatically Terminate Due to Late Premium Payment

Under the insurance contract, the premium was to be paid in three installments, and in all three, the insured party was late in payment. When a dispute arose, the insurer (Defendant) argued that the insurance contract had terminated before the insured event occurred due to the late premium payment and therefore refused to make an insurance payout. However, the Arbitral Tribunal held a contrary view.
