The Ho Chi Minh City Logistics Association (HLA) organized the Ho Chi Minh City Logistics Forum 2023

As a dynamic member actively involved in association activities, the representative of the HCM branch's Board of Directors - Mr. Tran Anh Giang (Director of Glotrans HCM branch) took precious time to participate in an exchange with the association under the theme: "Shifting Supply Chains: Prospects and Challenges."

The representative from the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City stated that the city was increasingly asserting its crucial position in the national logistics sector. With inherent advantages in international trade and transportation, the city had an ideal position to become the logistics hub of the Southern region and the whole country. The Department of Industry and Trade emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City was continually strengthening its position.

In the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with various departments, committees, sectors, and the business community, would implement directions and solutions for logistics development. This includes the effective deployment of mechanisms, policies, and logistics development solutions. The plan involves enhancing investment in logistics infrastructure, increasing loading and unloading capacity, and storage capacity at seaports, anticipating supply chain trends, and establishing a regional-scale logistics service center in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is an opportunity for Glotrans HCM to strengthen connections, learn, and grow in challenging circumstances, ensuring sustainable development for the future.
