Da Nang welcomes a container train bringing goods from the Central region straight to the United States

On September 5, 2023, Da Nang Port (Da Nang City) said that the unit has just received the WanHai 362 ship operated by Wan Hai shipping line, belonging to the AA3 service route connecting Vietnam going directly to Long Beach port - Port. Oakland (USA).


The WanHai 362 ship departs from India and its final destination is Long Beach port - Oakland Port (USA). Specifically, the ship's itinerary: from India (Cochin - Nhava Sheva - Tuticorin) - Malaysia (Port Klang) - China (Shekuo) - Vietnam (Tien Sa / Da Nang - Tan Cang Cai Mep) - China (Shekuo) - Xiamen ) – Taiwan (Taipei) – China (Shanghai – Ningbo) – United States (Long Beach – Oakland ).

Da Nang Port said that currently the demand of customers in the Central region through Tien Sa port, Da Nang to load goods to the West and East coast ports of the US is very potential, and promises to trade, import and export goods in Vietnam. It is known that Wan Hai is currently the 11th largest container shipping company in the world and owns 69 mother ships. In particular, the ship WAN HAI 362, Singapore nationality, built in 2023 with a length of 203.5m, a hull width of 34.8m, a tonnage of 36,776 DWT, a capacity of 3,013 TEUS, is the largest container ship ever. now docked at Tien Sa Port 4, Da Nang Port.
