VINFAST EXPORTS 999 VF 8 CARS TO THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET

VinFast held a ceremony to export the first batch of smart electric cars, including 999 VF 8 cars to the international market in Hai Phong on November 25, 2022. The event marks a special step forward for Vietnam's car industry when for the first time, technological automobile products owned and manufactured by Vietnam officially come to the world in the anticipation of global consumers. 

The first batch of VinFast VF 8 cars exported was 999 units for the US market and was transported by Panama's own charter ship Silver Queen. Expectedly, after about 20 days of departure from MPC Port, Hai Phong, the shipment will arrive at the port of California, USA and will be handed over to the first customers by the end of December 2022.

This is the first batch of cars exported to the international market among 65,000 orders for VinFast VF 8 and VF 9 electric cars globally. Right after the US market, VinFast will export the next batch of VF 8 cars to the Canadian and European markets to promptly hand over to customers in 2023. Regarding the VF 9 model, VinFast has planned to hand over to Vietnam and internationally market in the first quarter of 2023.

Speaking at the VinFast Electric Car Export Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang - Vice President and General Director of Vingroup said: "The 999 VinFast cars exported today is a great event not only for VinFast Company, Vingroup Corporation but also a historical milestone of Vietnam's auto industry, affirming that Vietnam has successfully mastered and produced high-tech products, capable of competing in the international market. We hope, along with VinFast smart electric cars rolling on the roads of the world, the image of a new, dynamic and developed Vietnam will also be promoted more widely in the eyes of international friends. "

VinFast VF 8 and VF 9 are two high-end electric SUVs in the D and E segments, with luxurious designs, integration of advanced smart technologies, attractive prices and the best after-sales policies in the market.

Besides the group of individual customers, VinFast also receives special attention from the group of corporate customers. Right at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2022 (November 17-28, 2022) taking place in the US, VinFast received an order of 2,500 cars from the largest car rental company in the US - Autonomy.

Along with VF 8, VF 9, in 2022, VinFast also announced A-B-C popular SUV models VF 5, VF 6 and VF 7, to complete a comprehensive range of electric vehicles for the market. It is expected that VinFast is preparing to sell VF 5, VF 6, and VF 7 cars to meet the diverse needs of global customers.

The event of exporting the first batch of electric vehicles owned and manufactured by Vietnam has opened a new era for the country's auto industry, not only affirming Vietnamese class and wisdom but also realizing aspiration owning the auto industry for many generations of his father, contributing to raising the country's position in the international arena.
